A few months ago, we introduced you to Karla. She is a GREAT mom to four kids! Several years ago, her oldest son was taken to live in an orphanage because Karla’s sister had been watching him for the day while she worked and decided to take him and her children to beg for money at a traffic light.

Karla has never had a permanent home. She was born and raised in a “bordo,” a community of temporary homes often made from scraps of used materials. She has always worked, but often because of limited opportunities, she has always earned just enough for her and her family to live day-to-day.

Despite this, she has always dreamed of giving her kids a better future, making way for them to have stability. Because of your donations, we were able to support them with the construction of their permanent home!
