Melvin’s Son Is HOME!

We are SO happy to share that Melvin’s son is HOME!

In September, we introduced you to Melvin, and we told you about his son who had been living in an orphanage for the last year.

We asked for your help, and you STEPPED UP BIG TIME by donating the amount needed to pay for the materials needed to build his home. Melvin has spent the last four months with volunteers from his church and community working so hard on the construction while also working a full-time job, all with one goal: to have a space where the welfare office could approve his son’s return home!

This reunion was the sweetest moment, as we were able to go with Melvin and the welfare office team to pick up his son from the orphanage.

His son ran out of the doors, hugged his dad, and said, “Hi, dad! Let’s go home!”

Melvin told us this was the day that he had been praying for and he couldn’t have been happier to finally have his family back together!
