See How You Empowered Elsa To Care For Her Two Sisters!

Last month we introduced you to Elsa, who recently welcomed her two younger sisters into her home from the orphanage they were living in. 

Elsa is a single mom to her three daughters, works full-time at a textile factory, is finishing her degree, and has always fought to defend her family. 

When we asked Elsa what she would need to support her family best as she takes on guardianship of her sisters, she asked if we could help provide materials to build an extension onto their one-room home so that her sisters could have their own space. We asked her if they had any family members who had experience in construction, and she laughed and said, “I studied carpentry.” We impressively nodded and asked for the list of materials that she would need. 

Over the last two weeks, between working her full-time job and maintaining her house, with the help of just one friend, they build a two-bedroom extension onto their house for her sisters!
