Meet Julio and Hear How You Are Helping To Get His Two Kids Back Home!

Meet Julio, a dad who has been trying to get his two kids back from the orphanage they have been living in for the last four years!

His two kids, now teenagers, were placed in an orphanage after his divorce. The kids were living between their mom’s house and their dad’s house, but their mom often let them work in the streets whenever they weren’t in school.

Julio came home from work, and he heard from other people that his kids had been taken away by the welfare office, but he didn’t know where they were taken. Julio lives two hours from the closest welfare office, and he tried to find where they were taken, but no one gave him clear answers.

After finding what orphanage they were in, he visited them whenever he had enough money to pay for the six-hour round trip bus fare.

He requested to get custody of his kids, but last year, his home was destroyed by a mudslide during the hurricanes, so the welfare office could not complete a home study to approve the reintegration.

He has been working to rebuild his life and home after losing everything in order to get his two kids back.

To help these two finally get back home, we need to provide the construction supplies to add a bedroom and bathroom to the home, along with the beds and furniture needed to prepare this home for these kids.

We are excited to share that we have sent the materials for the additional room to be built, and Julio is working on the construction to make a place for his kids to return home! He is one step closer to having his kids back!
