Maria's Home is FINISHED!
A few months ago, we introduced you to Maria! Her three kids were taken by child protective services and placed in an orphanage after losing their home to a hurricane nearly two years ago. (If you want a refresher on Maria's story, click here)
She has been working so hard to recover after losing absolutely everything. When we met her, she had accomplished buying a piece of land and building a one-room home from scrap metals. She still didn't have access to water or electricity, but she was step by step saving money and rebuilding to have a place for her kids to return home to.
We decided to support her to make the road home a bit faster for her kids.
We are excited to share that her home is FINISHED, and everything is in place for her three kids to be reunited with their mom!
